Description
Wondering how you can do your part to protect your local waterways? Join Mobile Baykeeper at the Fairhope Brewery to find out how. After all, it takes clean water to make delicious beer!
Mobile Baykeeper will give a brief presentation about the Strategic Watershed Awareness and Monitoring Program (SWAMP), an education program that teaches citizens the importance of connections within watersheds while also providing tools to monitor the health of waterways and solve pollution problems.
Following the presentation, interested participants will be invited to sign up to become trained water quality monitors through Alabama Water Watch. Space is limited for the training and is primarily reserved for those who attend this presentation.
Food and drinks will be provided. For more information, please contact Education & Outreach Coordinator Jamie Bullock at jbullock@mobilebaykeeper.org or call 251-433-4229
