DESCRIPTION:The 35th Annual Alabama Coastal Cleanup is a good opportunity for Fairhope residents to not only clean up along the coast but to also clean up city wide. Again\, this year the City of Fairhope is encouraging neighborhood groups and others to join together to pick up trash and help make a difference.\n\n\n\nThe Alabama Coastal Clean-Up is part of an international effort to remove debris from coastal waters.\n\n\n\nVolunteers who sign up early will receive a free t-shirt. The packets of supplies will be available at the James P. Nix Senior Center (1 Bayou Drive) on Friday\, September 16th from 8am to 4pm. All other volunteers can sign in at the Fairhope Pier on Saturday morning at 8am.
