DESCRIPTION:The annual "Back to School with Red\, White & Blue" event has just been scheduled for its third year in which we expect to surpass 1\,000 students assisted overall!\n\n \n\nThe program has been designed to help struggling families obtain many of the necessities needed to get their kids back into the classroom. \n\n \n\nLast year we provided:\n\nBook bags and school supplies\n\nSchool uniforms (two per student)\n\nHaircuts\n\nSports Physicals\n\nEmergency / ID / Fingerprint cards\n\n \n\nAdditionally\, we had a lot of fun with:\n\nWater slides\n\nFun with Art\n\nReading Tent\n\nFace Painting\n\nCook-out with hamburgers\, hot dogs\, drinks\, chips and sno-cones\n\nPositive interaction with local law enforcement officers and firefighters
