DESCRIPTION:Grab your mask and a sense of humor and come out for a good cause: Two socially-distanced Mardi Gras brass band "Happenings" will take place on February 13th & 16th\, 2021 in downtown Fairhope. The "Ball Gown Throw Down" is an opportunity for businesses and patrons to enjoy some uplifting sounds of the season while walking\, shopping\, eating at a distance and benefiting charity. Men and women alike are encouraged to stay socially-distant while visually showing their support for neighbors helping neighbors by wearing Mardi Gras ball gowns and comfortable shoes. Tips collected will help support Ecumenical Ministries. The Mobile Brass Band Society will be playing on Saturday from 12-2 PM\, and the Excelsior Band will play on Fat Tuesday\, from 6-8 PM.
