ESAC is partnering with Suzanne Damrich and Fairn Whatley\, creators of the award-winning film "The Mystical Migration of the Monarch Along the Gulf Coast"\, to raise awareness of the dwindling population of the Monarch Butterfly. The Monarch's roles in pollination\, insect control\, and as a food source help shape our global ecosystem. Students will employ pottery\, printmaking\, and other media to create pieces inspired by the vibrant Monarch Butterfly.\n\n\n\nIn addition to creating pieces of art for themselves\, each student will create a piece to include in the ESAC "Monarch Butterfly Event" on September 22nd\, 2018. Spaces are limited.
