DESCRIPTION:The objective of this course is to prepare patients and their support persons for childbirth and postpartum. Our goal is to ease anxiety related to childbirth by familiarizing you with our facility and current practices. Upon completion of this course\, patients should be able to: - Recognize signs of labor - Understand the process of labor\, delivery and postpartum - Make informed decisions regarding themselves and their infant - Recognize warning signs that require immediate attention antenatal and postpartum - Prepare themselves for their upcoming delivery and make preparations for bringing their baby home
