NextHome Gulf Coast Living Celebrates Luke Day
Community Event to support The Haven
(Fairhope, Alabama, June 15, 2022) NextHome Gulf Coast Living invites you to join them at District Hall in support of The Haven, a non-profit, no-kill shelter for homeless, abused, and neglected animals.
Residents of the Eastern Shore are encouraged to stop by District Hall located at 761 Nichols Avenue on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 4:30 – 8:00pm for a chance to win door prizes, test your knowledge with a fun game of trivia and enjoy a delicious bite to eat and a cold beverage while supporting our furry friends who benefit from the services and programs provided by The Haven.
Patrons attending the event will have a chance to win a door prize by bringing a donated item such as paper towels, latex gloves, bleach, Science Diet wet dog/cat food and creamy peanut butter, a few of the top needed items or by making a monetary donation to The Haven. District Hall has generously offered to support the event by hosting and donating 15% of food and beverage sales from the evening to The Haven. Both members of NextHome Gulf Coast Living and The Haven will be at this event to provide information about the services their respective organization have to offer to our local community.
June 15th is designated company wide as an annual day of community service and outreach. It is an integral part of our brand identity and culture and our French Bulldog Luke serves as our brand ambassador, representing pets and home ownership. “We are excited to be participating in Luke Day by supporting The Haven, a program that has a huge impact in the community of which we live and serve” says Ginny Stopa and Amy Slade, Brokers/Owners of NextHome Gulf Coast Living, a full-service real estate franchise serving Mobile/Baldwin Counties.
The Haven, founded in 2000, is the first no-kill animal shelter in Baldwin County with a mission to shelter and find adoptive homes for homeless, abused, neglected cats and dogs. The Haven promotes the importance of spaying and neutering pets and pet responsibility through education, advocacy, and programs and services. The Haven’s lifesaving programs have served over 10,800 pets since its inception. As a nonprofit, The Haven relies heavily on donor support, volunteers, and limited staff to achieve its mission.
