Experience the early days of sawmills, when logging was done with mules and draft animals. Watch professional lumberjacks compete in log-rolling, pole climbing, cross-cut sawing, and more. Many other demos and displays. Live music. Juried “folk art”. Parade with wagons, antique cars, mules and horses (some in costume). Sawmill biscuits, tomato gravy, fried catfish, & cheese grits prepared by Stagecoach Café known for its down home, southern-style cooking. November 2, 2013, 9am-4pm.
