The 17th Annual Alabama Coastal BirdFest, Oct. 6-9, 2021. This birding and nature festival attracts visitors to coastal Alabama from more than 20 states and Canada, supports the local economy, and has become a premier ecotourism event for the Gulf Coast. BirdFest features expertly-guided tours, where birders and nature lovers experience one of the most spectacular birding and wildlife venues in North America – the 240-mile Alabama Coastal Birding Trail. BirdFest’s field trips leaders are all extraordinary birders who delight in sharing their love of birds and favorite birding venues with participants. We will also have a stellar line-up of evening presentations and daily workshops to augment the birding festival experience. The four-day festival culminates with a free bird and conservation expo on the Coastal Alabama Community College Campus that introduces birdwatching, habitat protection, and the joys of nature to children and adults.
