The St. Francis Music Society is pleased to present the second concert of their 2020-21 concert series: An Afternoon in Paris, featuring Rebekah Atkinson, harp; Stephanie Riegle, flute; Richard Jernigan, clarinet; Matthew Atkinson, violin; Grace Kim, violin; Nicole Harabaru, viola; Andrian Harabaru, cello; and Benjamin Rollings, piano Travel back in time and visit Paris with this concert of French music composed in 1905 and 1879. Experience the youthful freshness of Maurice Ravel’s colorful Introduction and Allegro for harp, flute, clarinet and string quartet contrasted with César Franck’s daring and passionate Piano Quintet. Principal members of the Mobile Symphony Orchestra and Pensacola Symphony Orchestra join musicians from the previous concert in what is sure to be an unforgettable afternoon.
