Entry fees for the Cookoffs are $150 for each Steak and $25 for Shrimp or Kids Steak. Total prize purse for each Steak Cookoff is $3000. Each Ancillary will pay out $350. Description
Grillin’ at the Fort is a fully sanctioned Steak Cookoff Association (SCA) competition. In addition to the grilling contests, the day will feature fun, food-inspired activities, cooking demonstrations, a local vendors market and live entertainment. Grillin’ at the Fort will draw cook teams from across the south vying for cash, SCA points and, most importantly, bragging rights. It is a double steak cook-off and includes two ancillary competitions – Shrimp and Kids’ Steak - and is open to anyone who thinks they have the grilling chops enough to impress the board of certified SCA judges. Corporate and local businesses are welcome to participate and take advantage of the opportunity to showcase their business or service to local customers in and around Spanish Fort and Daphne.
