Description
A documentary produced and created by the Mobile Bay National Estuary Program features an oral history of Dauphin Island during “pre-bridge” days with a continuing look forward at current and future environmental changes effecting the landscape, economy, and people of the island. The Flight of the Frigate Bird, An Omen of Rising Seas, was created to educate and raise awareness of the vulnerability of northern Gulf of Mexico barrier islands due to climate change and sea level rise.
