Sledge, author of the award-winning book, The Mobile River, narrates a three-hour cruise across the Mobile-Tensaw Delta and down the storied Mobile River leaving a wake of history—some previously untold—behind. An authority on local history and an accomplished story teller, Sledge helps bring people, places, and events from this area’s rich past to life. Signed copies of Sledge’s books will be available for purchase following the tour. This cruise departs from the Historic Blakeley State Park dock.
