Description
Every year, South Alabama Land Trust (SALT) invites amateur photographers to submit photos that showcase the natural beauty throughout coastal Alabama . . . the way the sunlight touches a leaf, or a baby sea turtle takes its first steps on snow-white sand. The images the photographers capture help underscore why it is critically important that we protect our natural resources.
This year’s contest is opened September 1 and closes at midnight on November 1. There is a Junior and Open Division, each with three categories: Flora, Fauna, and People in Nature. Three submissions max per person, in any and all categories you want. Email photos to "photos@southalabamalandtrust.org" . Please read guidelines before submitting. Full details on our website: https://southalabamalandtrust.org/salt-photo-contest/
Photos in our annual contest are seen throughout the year, with photo credit, in SALT publications, on our website, and social media @southalabamalandtrust.
NEW this year, winners from the Adult Division that are 21 or older for this year and last will be invited to produce prints of their winning photo to sell at two events, "Pints and Prints", at local breweries, Fairhope and Braided River, on November 28th and 30th.
