Description
Join SweetWater Brewing Company and Mobile Baykeeper on Saturday, August 20 for the Big Float at the BLUEGILL Restaurant from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come and go as you please!
The event will begin with a two hour guided kayaking tour to Whiskey Ditch from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Reserve your spot today by calling 251-259-8531. There will also be additional boats available on site by first come, first serve basis.
Canoe and kayak rentals will be available from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. for those who do not participate in the kayaking tour. Following the paddle, there will be a variety of different activities at the Bluegill, including live music by Cary Laine from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., cornhole, face painting, paint the pint, a dunking booth, and a variety of other children's activities.
For every SweetWater pint purchased, $1 will be donated to Mobile Baykeeper's work for clean water, clean air, and healthy communities. All additional proceeds raised from the event will also benefit Mobile Baykeeper.
