Open Board Positions

We are looking for individuals with diverse backgrounds and expertise to fill several open board positions. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to our mission and values, and possess skills in areas such as:

• Strategic Planning: Visionary leaders who can help guide our school's long-term growth and development.

• Financial Management: Individuals with experience in budgeting, financial oversight, and resource allocation.

• Fundraising & Development: Experienced professionals who can help secure funding and build community partnerships.

• Education & Curriculum: Educators or specialists with a deep understanding of educational best practices and curriculum development, particularly in  special education.

• Community Engagement: Individuals with strong ties to the community and a passion for fostering collaboration and outreach.

• Legal & Governance: Professionals with expertise in non-profit governance, compliance, and legal matters.

Responsibilities of a Board Member

As a member of the Board of Directors, you will be expected to:

• Actively participate in board meetings held at  23952 Highway 98 Fairhope, AL on a regular basis.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's strategic plan.

• Provide financial oversight and ensure fiscal responsibility.

• Support fundraising efforts and advocate for the school within the community.

• Serve on committees as needed, such as the Finance Committee or the Education Committee.

• Champion the school's mission, values, and vision.

Candidate Requirements

• A strong commitment to the mission and values of Anthony's School for Incredible Exceptional People.

• Relevant professional experience and expertise in one or more of the areas listed above.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to dedicate time and effort to board responsibilities.

• Previous board experience is a plus,but not required.
