Coastal Alabama Community College’s Thomasville students have new opportunities for financial support through the Thomas L. Turner Foundation Scholarship
Coastal Alabama Community College students will have a new scholarship opportunity thanks to a gracious endowment in the amount of $50,000 from the Thomas L. Turner Foundation.
Through this endowment scholarship, selected students from the Clarke County, Ala. area who are attending the Thomasville Campus may receive funds from the Foundation in support of furthering their education.
The Thomas L. Turner Foundation was recognized by the Coastal Alabama Community College Foundation for its generous support on April 2 on the Thomasville Campus.
“We are thankful to the Thomas L. Turner Foundation for their commitment to our students,” Dr. Aaron Milner, president of Coastal Alabama Community College said. “Their investment provides much needed financial support as our students seek to better their lives and the lives of their families. This is a great example of community organizations working together to invest in student success.”
The Coastal Alabama Community College Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that seeks scholarship opportunities for students while enhancing professional development opportunities and college initiatives across the College’s footprint in southwest Alabama.
