DAPHNE, Ala. — The Eastern Shore Young Professionals will host their annual
Cornhole Tournament on Thursday, April 16, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at JBT Power,
located at 1204 U.S. Highway 98 in Daphne.
The event will bring together young professionals and community members from
across the Eastern Shore for an evening of friendly competition, networking, and
philanthropy — all in support of the Eastern Shore Chamber Foundation’s youth
initiatives.
Proceeds from the tournament directly benefit two cornerstone programs: the Youth
Leadership Program and the Student Training and Exploration Program (STEP).
These initiatives are designed to equip local students with leadership skills, career
exposure, and real-world experience that prepare them for future success.
“Our Cornhole Tournament directly supports our youth and workforce initiative —
Youth Leadership and Student Training and Exploration Program,” said Casey
Williams, President and Executive Director of the Eastern Shore Chamber of
Commerce. “These programs foster a sense of community, develop leadership skills,
and provide career development.”
Community members who wish to attend without competing can do so with a $20
donation at the door.
Attendees will receive five drink tickets and enjoy all-you-can-eat burgers, hot dogs,
and sides, making the event an accessible and family-friendly way to support a
meaningful cause.
