Fairhope Brewing Company Welcomes New Head Brewer

(Fairhope, Ala.) — Fairhope Brewing Company is proud to announce Jacob Sellers has joined the team as Head Brewer. Sellers, an Alabama native, previously served as head brewer for Folklore Brewing and Meadery in Dothan, AL, and brings nearly ten years of experience working in the craft brewing industry.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jacob to the Fairhope Brewing family, “ said managing partner Jim Foley. “His creativity with recipes and dedication to innovative techniques will grow our brand to new levels.” “Coming to Fairhope is an opportunity to strengthen my skills and try new ideas.

The leadership is really supportive and encourages the team to try new things constantly. I look forward to collaborating with the team here to expand upon the wide variety of styles and flavors FBC is known for and introduce some new ‘soon to be’ fan favorites.”

First up for Sellers under the FBC brand is Vanilla Sky, a vanilla cream ale made specifically to pair well with coastal Alabama summers. It is now available on draft in the brewery’s taproom at 914 Nichols Avenue in Fairhope and will be available across Lower Alabama the first week of August.

“Like everybody in the food and beverage industry, we are coming off a challenging year after the pandemic. Bringing in Jacob gives us some renewed momentum and will ensure that our customers will continue to receive the high-quality products we pride ourselves on,” says Brian Kane, managing partner.
