Four Partners Named to Forbes' ''America's Best-in-State CPAs'' List

FOUR PARTNERS NAMED TO FORBES’ “AMERICA’S BEST-IN-STATE CPAs” LIST

 

MOBILE, AL, April 15, 2026 – Wilkins Miller, an accounting and advisory firm with offices in Mobile and Fairhope, is pleased to announce that Scott Browning, CPA, MTA; Allen Carroll, CPA/ABV, CFF, CVA; Lyndsey Dixon, CPA, CVA; and Michael Kintz, CPA, have been named to Forbes’ “America’s Best-In-State CPAs” list.

 

Candidates are evaluated across ten weighted categories, including achievements, professional honors, influence on the profession, performance, thought leadership, and community service. While a CPA’s lifetime achievements are considered, emphasis is placed on their most recent accomplishments.

 

Browning specializes in federal and multi-state tax compliance and planning for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts. He also has extensive experience in financial statement preparation, bookkeeping, contractor licensing, and representation in Internal Revenue Service and state department of revenue examinations.

 

Carroll was appointed by Governor Kay Ivey to the Alabama Securities Commission, where he currently serves as Chairman. He is Certified in Financial Forensics by the American Institute of CPAs and has extensive experience in forensic accounting, specializing in litigation services support, fraud investigations, and financial analysis as well as traditional tax and accounting services across a variety of industries.  He is also accredited in Business Valuation and is a Certified Valuation Analyst and has served as the firm's Chief Executive Officer for almost 20 years.

 

Dixon holds the Certified Valuation Analyst designation from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. She provides consulting services in litigation and valuation matters and leads advisory engagements for companies seeking outsourced controller and CFO solutions.

 

Kintz was appointed by Governor Kay Ivey to the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy and has served on various committees of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy. His responsibilities primarily include financial reporting and assurance services, consulting for the outsourced accounting area, and firmwide recruiting efforts.
