Bishop State Community College is excited to share an incredible opportunity happening this summer — the 3rd Annual GLAM Camp (Girls Learning About Manufacturing), taking place June 23–26, 2025!
This FREE, four-day summer camp is designed for rising 6th–8th grade girls and aims to introduce them to the world of modern manufacturing and STEM careers in a fun, engaging, and hands-on environment.
Camp Highlights Include:
- Interactive demonstrations and hands-on experiences
- Field trips to local industry partners and manufacturing facilities
- Career exploration in high-demand fields
- Soft skills development workshops
- Activities featuring:
- Virtual welding
- Virtual reality simulations
- Machine tool technology
- Process operations
- Aviation
- Other exciting STEM-based projects
Campers will get a firsthand look at the possibilities in today’s advanced manufacturing world while building confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills.
