Thomas Hospital Recognized Among Top Hospitals in Alabama by U.S. News & World Report

Thomas Hospital has been named among the top-performing hospitals in Alabama in the 2025–2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals rankings. The hospital earned three High-Performing distinctions for excellence in diabetes management, arrhythmia care, pacemaker implantation, and maternity.

These recognitions highlight Thomas Hospital’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare to the Eastern Shore community and surrounding region. The annual U.S. News & World Report rankings evaluate more than 4,500 hospitals nationwide to help patients make informed decisions about where to receive care. Hospitals recognized as “High Performing” demonstrate exceptional outcomes, quality metrics, and patient-centered care.
