Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation Expresses Gratitude to Perdido Beach Resort for Marathon Donation

BALDWIN COUNTY, AL – The Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation extends its heartfelt thanks to Perdido Beach Resort for their continued commitment to our community through the Perdido Beach Resort Half Marathon, 5k, and Fun Run. This year, the Foundation was honored to receive a generous donation of $10,467.00 from the event's proceeds. This incredible contribution brings the grand total raised to $39,518.77 since the race began in 2024.

The recent race weekend, held on March 6th and 7th, 2026, offered runners an exceptional experience along the beachfront road, featuring a breathtaking journey over the iconic Perdido Pass Bridge. Participants in the Half Marathon, the 5k, and the "1 Moore Mile Fun Run" laced up their sneakers to make a meaningful difference before celebrating at the "Bubbles on the Beach" post-race party.

The Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation, a non-profit organization named in memory of a 16-year-old high school student who lost her life to suicide in 1997, is dedicated to supporting the social and emotional well-being of our youth. The funds raised from this marathon are vital, allowing the Foundation to provide crucial programs, services, and resources across Baldwin County to empower young people with hope and resilience.

By organizing and supporting this event, Perdido Beach Resort and its participating sponsors have proven that they are not just investing in a race, but rather making a profound and real difference in the lives of young people. Their generosity serves as a true step towards a brighter, healthier future for our community's youth.

The Foundation wishes to thank everyone who participated in creating these "waves of change," and we look forward to continuing this positive impact together.
