Eastern Shore Chamber Unveils Signature Art for 37th Annual Jubilee Festival of Arts

July 11, 2025 - DAPHNE, AL – The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the official artwork for the 37th Annual Jubilee Festival of Arts.

The featured piece is the signature artwork for this year’s festival. The featured artist, Rianna Turner, shared the inspiration behind her work.

“This piece was ultimately inspired by the atmosphere that our Mobile Bay Jubilees bring. Just like a party or festival, a Jubilee brings an exhilarating sense of anticipation and celebration. My goal was to essentially bottle up that joy (and a little confetti) and use it all as paint!” said Artist Rianna Turner.

Rianna Turner's passion for painting began in elementary school. After years of self-taught practice, she entered formal training at the University of Mobile, graduating in 2002 and again in 2006 with degrees in Communication, Counseling, and Fine Art. For many years, she taught painting in various capacities along the coast and across the U.S.

Eventually, Rianna transitioned into a full-time working artist, shifting her focus from oils to primarily acrylics.

Her modern impressionistic works are known for their unexpected color combinations, dynamic compositions, and coastal influences — all reflecting her upbringing in South Mississippi. Rianna works from her home studio in Mobile alongside her husband Steven and their three children.

Her work is represented in galleries throughout the Gulf Coast and has been licensed for use in everything from children’s clothing to national puzzle brands. Learn more: www.riannaturner.com.
