Senior Bowl to donate 50 Raincoats to the Mobile Law Enforcement Foundation

MOBILE, Ala. — The Panini Senior Bowl is proud to announce a donation of 50 raincoats to the Mobile Law Enforcement Foundation. This contribution is intended for the Mobile Police Department as a token of appreciation for their unwavering support and dedication, both during Senior Bowl events and throughout the City of Mobile year-round.
A press conference will take place during Senior Bowl practice on Wednesday, January 28, at Hancock Whitney Stadium at 2:30 p.m. in the Michelob Ultra Terrace under the jumbotron in the South side of the stadium. Members from the Senior Bowl staff, Mobile Law Enforcement Foundation, and Mobile Police Department will be in attendance. Media are encouraged to attend.
Each year, the Mobile Police Department plays a critical role in ensuring the success and safety of the Senior Bowl and its many events. From coordinating player movements to providing hotel and stadium security for practices and game day, as well as supporting parades, concerts, and countless events in between, their commitment is essential to the overall experience and safety of everyone involved.
“This donation is a small way for us to say thank you,” said Mobile Arts & Sports Association President Scott Cooper. “The Mobile Police Department’s preparedness and tireless efforts are what make the Senior Bowl possible, and more importantly, help keep our city safe every day.”
"I'm grateful to have the community and its organizations support the Mobile Police Department,” said City of Mobile Police Chief William R. Jackson. “Receiving these raincoats from the Senior Bowl through the Mobile Law Enforcement Foundation will not only help keep our officers dry, but it's also a reminder that so many of you care about our men and women who work tirelessly day and night to protect this wonderful city. I can't thank you enough for your continued support."
Beyond their involvement with the Senior Bowl, the Mobile Police Department works continuously to protect and serve the citizens of Mobile, strengthening the community through their dedication and service.
The Senior Bowl is honored to recognize and support the men and women of the Mobile Police Department and looks forward to continuing its strong partnership with local law enforcement for years to come.
