Fairhope, AL — On Thursday, September 25, 2025, more than 220 animal lovers gathered at
The Venue Fairhope to celebrate The Haven’s 25th anniversary of lifesaving work during the
2nd Annual Tails of Hope Gala, presented by the Claudia Graf Charitable Trust Foundation
and Admiral Shellfish Company.
From the moment guests arrived, the evening shimmered with excitement and purpose.
The air was filled with the soulful sounds of Mr. Big & The Rhythm Sisters, setting the stage for
a night of joy, compassion, and generosity. Guests sipped a one-of-a-kind “puptail” at the
open bar, graciously sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, while enjoying a delicious
dinner prepared by Tamara’s Downtown.
The gala’s energy soared during the live and silent auctions, thanks to the generosity of
local businesses and donors who contributed incredible items. Every winning bid became
more than a prize—it became a lifeline for the dogs and cats who depend on The Haven.
While the evening was filled with music, laughter, and community spirit, its purpose ran
even deeper: to raise critical funds and awareness in support of The Haven’s mission. For 25
years, The Haven has provided love, shelter, medical care, and second chances to abused,
neglected, and homeless animals. The Tails of Hope Gala was created as a way to honor
that mission and invite the community to be a part of it—to celebrate lives saved and help
write the next chapter of impact.
This unforgettable evening was only possible through the dedication of our event
chairperson, gala committee, volunteers, staff, sponsors, and guests. Together, we raised
nearly $60,000 in support of programs that ensure countless homeless pets receive the
love, care, and second chances they deserve.
