(Baldwin County, Ala.) — United Way of Baldwin County (UWBC) is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven leader to serve as its next Executive Director, a full-time executive position reporting to the Board of Directors.
The Executive Director will serve as the organization’s chief executive and administrative leader, responsible for advancing UWBC’s mission to create lasting change in health, education, and financial stability throughout Baldwin County. Working closely with the Board, staff, donors, and community partners, the Executive Director will provide strategic leadership, oversee operations and financial management, lead fundraising efforts, and serve as UWBC’s primary public ambassador.
Key responsibilities include driving measurable community impact, strengthening partnerships across the nonprofit, business, and public sectors, ensuring fiscal integrity and long-term sustainability, and fostering a high-performing and inclusive organizational culture.
Qualified candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, public administration or related field (or equivalent experience) and have a minimum of seven years of senior nonprofit leadership experience, with demonstrated success in fundraising, financial oversight, strategic planning, and board relations.
