Baldwin County, Ala. — As professionals navigate the first weeks of 2026, the
Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals are inviting
emerging leaders to reconnect, refocus, and build momentum at their annual
Summit.
The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce's Young Professionals will host its
annual Summit, presented by Novelis, on January 23, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
at the Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Alabama. The 2026 theme, "Strengthen the
Current: Power Through Connection," will tackle timely conversations on staying
grounded through high-pressure situations, rewiring elements of your life that no
longer serve you, and building high-performing habits that will carry you through
any situation.
The Young Professionals are thrilled to welcome Bobby Wagner, Mayor of Destin,
Florida, to give the keynote presentation on "The Power You Don't See: The
Untold Side of Resilience." In addition to his service to the city of Destin, Wagner
is the Executive Director of Trees on the Coast, a long-standing member of his
local Chamber and an avid proponent for environmental initiatives in his area.
Wagner will join a cohort of local leaders, all equipped with inspirational stories,
lessons learned, and tips from years in business and development. This year's
panel, "Decades of Progress from Local Experts," will feature representatives from
the Mobile Airport Authority, the Port of Mobile, ALDOT, Amtrak, and the Cruise
Terminal to update attendees on massive infrastructure upgrades and projects
while sharing insights from their careers.
This one-day professional development summit is created specifically for those
under the age of 40, working to develop seasoned networking skills and build
community relationships that withstand the test of time. Tickets are now on sale
on the Eastern Shore Chamber website.
